Trekking in Hushe valley

Hushe valley is at about 3000 m at the end of the jeep road was very poor before the advent of trekking. As it is too high for fruits trees and double cropping.

Hushe is now well on tourism and has good guides, high & low altitude porters and cooks. Many Expeditions came here to climb and trek and the Hushe rescue team sets up fix ropes over the Gondogoro Pas each season.

The most popular trek in this area are to Masherbrum Bse Camp and up the Gondogoro Glacier to climb Gondogoro Peak or crosss the Gondogoro Pass to Condordia and K2. Optional extras are the Hunbrok, Aling, Charkasa valley.
